Jeff Curry, P.T.

Jeff Curry, P.T. is the owner and operator of Peak Rehabilitation, Inc.  and has been a physical therapist  over 20 years. He currently serves on the Academic Advisory Board for Athens Technical College. Originally from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Jeff attended West Virginia University and obtained his Physical Therapy degree from Texas Women's University. Jeff has obtained additional knowledge in the fields of myofascial pain and relief, TMJ dysfunction, sports injury rehabilitation, and McKenzie spine evaluation and treatment. . He also has attended numerous manual therapy courses and uses them extensively in his practice. Jeff is now certified in dry needling technique, TDN for chronic myofascial pain and dysfunction.

Jeff is married to Marie and has three children. They are active members at Prince Avenue Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, yard work, and attending his kids sports, music, and art activities.

 

 

 Tiffani Scheel, Office Administrator


Tiffani Scheel has worked in medical administration since 1996 and has worked for Peak Rehabilitation since it opened in March 2005. Her efficiency and experience makes the daily administrative and clinical operations run seamlessly.

Tiffani is married to David and has three girls Hether, Hannah and Bethany. Tiffani attends Galilee Christian Church in Jefferson. In her spare time, Tiffani enjoys spending time with family, crafting and gardening.




Nicki Jones, P.T.A.                  

Nicki Jones joined the Peak Rehabilitation team in 2007 and received her PTA degree from Athens Technical College in 2010.  She attends continuing education courses regularly to stay up-to-date with the most effective PT interventions and treatments. Nicki works with patients in both the Commerce and Jefferson locations.

Nicki is married to Josh and has one daughter, Ella Kate. They attend SouthSide Church in Jefferson.  In her spare time, Nicki      enjoys camping with her family and exercising.  


 

Kevin Poe, P.T.A., CSCS, TMR

Kevin Poe entered the physical therapy world after receiving his PTA degree in 2003 from Athens Technical College. In 2005, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree from AIU in Healthcare Management. Kevin has served the physical therapy profession in many different settings including acute care hosptials and outpatient facilities from Cincinnati, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout his ten years in the profession, Kevin has become CSCS and TMR certified. Kevin served in the US Navy on three tours from the Persian Gulf to Albania.

Kevin began working at Peak Rehabilitation in June 2012. He is married to Kelly and has two beautiful children Ellie and Owen. Kevin and his family attend The Church at Southside in Jefferson. 

Also, Kevin calls himself an expert at using chopsticks and      enjoys participating in Tough Mudders and mixed martial arts. 


 

 
 

Eric Grooms, P.T.A.

Eric is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where he received his bachelor degree in early childhood education in 1996. He was a teacher and administrator for fourteen years before changing careers to physical therapy.  Eric began working for Peak Rehabilitation in the Fall of 2010. Eric then returned to school at Athens Technical College and graduated with his PTA degree in May 2014.

Eric is married to Natalie and has two active boys Nate, 11 and Graycen, 7. Eric and his family are active members at Price Avenue Baptist Church where he is 
                                                                      involved in the music ministry. In his free                                                                                               time Eric enjoys watching sports and                                                                                                       spending time and traveling with family.

Peak Rehabilitation, Inc was established in 2005 and opened for business on March 7, 2005. We have created a safe and warm environment so our patients can focus on their physical therapy needs and maintaining "Peak Function" at all times. Our well-experienced staff strives to treat each patient with the utmost professional care and kindness. Due to our growing businesss, we opened our 2nd location in Commerce, GA on June 1, 2012.

Peak Rehabilitation, Inc is a member of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. Our community involvement includes the following charities and ministries....
